CPU Clock prob

Hey, ive got a X2 555 BLack Edition (Phenom II ofc)
Ive tried overclocking it to 3.5ghz from 3.2 and it was fine, I watched the temps and they were ok.
(Using AMD Overdrive)

Although when I reset my PC o just shut it down and run it next day the clock is back to 3.2

How can i tackle this ?

Hey andi, thanks for your input again.

Ive looked into the motherboard in the CPU settings, but I dont see any volt increasing, or anything in there. Mind helping me a bit ?
(ACC etc is in there, but I dont see anything to do with overclocking, gah)

Ok, I cant change it from auto. All I can do is Increase or Decrease.

Increment: 0.00625V
Standard: By CPU

Looking at CPUZ my standard is 1.248V

Btw, just a thought. Ive got AMD Cool and Quiet enabled. it restricts me fom using full CPU power (And voltage) untill underload.

Which would mean when I try to load into windows, my voltage would be lower than normal.

What if I disabled that, unlocked the cores, and see if it works ?

Aaaaand fail.

When I ncreased it once and tried to boot into windows to see stuff in cpuz, It wouldnt load into windows and just said CPU over voltage failed, reconfigue your system. So ive switched it back to normal.

I hope I didnt damage anything ?
