CPU Cooler - 2 X 120MM Fans

I have the Raijintek Themis Direct Contact cooler right now and I'm wondering if I put another 120MM fan on the side of the heatsinc would it actually make a difference to temps

Probably only 2-3 degrees imo.

How are temps anyway? Personally I wouldn't worry/bother, as above difference will be minimal.

Not as cool as I'd expect tbh about 34c idle and about 74c max when using real bench

4690k oc'd to 4.4GHz

Not sure how real bench works, but the "real bench" I would use is load temps during gaming

What case and fans do you have?

I expect you would get lower temps, though I'd personally look to get a better heatsink to start with.

Case is a H440 3 fans on top which are Silverstone 120mm and 3 fans on the front which are the ones that came with the case and 1 exhaust fan

Do you guys know anything about the Cooler Master RL-S12V-24PK-R2 Seidon 120 Ver.2 can get it for £40

I put on some new thermal paste and it hasn't made much difference really. About 72c full load

If you have another fan spare, you could try it and see if it makes much difference. It will probably be louder though.

Those temps don't seem to bad though considering it's a budget cooler.

What's it like under normal usage.

Normal usage it's fine around 38c idle but thought it'd be lower than that tbh

Any decent AIO's for around £50

Maybe a little high for idle, but it could be a combination of the weather and airflow.

Can't see how the front fans get any air to circulate.

For that price, probably this.
