Quick question.

I've got a Noctua NH-U12P cooler and am thinking about attaching a second fan to it for a push-pull set up. But what would I connect the second fan to? I mean the first fan is plugged into the Mb. Should I connect the 2nd to a fan controller or directly to PSU? Or, could I attach both to the Mb via a splitter?

If the 2 fans weren't spinning at the same speed I'd think the overall efficiency would decrease. Or, is it the case that it is still better than one?

How have those who have done it .... done it?

I've got a push pull setup on my Thermalright TRUE Black 120 and I have both fans plugged into the MB. I had a spare connection on the board though, so it wasn't any bother. I dont like the word 'splitter', so I would either plug it into the PSU or a fan controller if you've got one.

To be honest though, adding the second fan to my cooler hardly made any difference at all.
