I need a new cpu cooler seeing as my one isnt very good

Seeing as my computer is quite old, its a Sempron 2GHz Socket A(462) Processor. I dont know much about cpu cooling etc so i wouldnt kno what to get, i can only seem to see very few 462 cooler compatables.

Can any1 suggest which one i should go for?

I cant remember what my mobo name is, it does have holes around where it should be fitted it, also im not going to be overclocking, i just need a half decent cooler because my old one doesnt do the job

Ill try and find my manual to look for the name and details =.=

If you are just looking for a cheap but very effective socket a cooler then i can recomend one of these

Coolermaster CP5-8JD1F-0L

Used one myself and it coped really well even when cpu was overclocked. Nice and cheap too if you can find one somehere.

if you have mounting holes around your socket and the case space then get the thermaltake big typhoon.

if you only have the socket lugs to work with then get the gigabyte g-power cooler.

those are the only 2 performance socket A coolers worth bothering with.

Thermalright SI-97 or SLK-900 (although this is hard to get hold of now)?
