CPU Cooler - Advice please.

My friend has the following CPU which he wants to overclock.

I5-6600k. He's on the stock cooler so obviously needs to upgrade, the below is for a 1150 but he has 1151, apprently the mounting brackets are the same? can anyone confirm.

Mounting is the same yes.

I had one of these and it took my 4690k to 4.6ghz and held it at 60c in stress test. Great cooler for the money, especially as I didn't pay for it

Yes, it will fit. All the 115x sockets share the same mounting hole spacing.

+1 for great bang for buck as well, if you're on a budget.

This one is just as good and is slightly cheaper, but has been out of stock for a while.
