Evening all,

Looking for some guidance for a new CPU cooler.

I currently have a Corsair H60 AIO Cooler which is keeping my i5 2500k nice and cool. Im going to make the jump to Skylake fairly soon (next few months) but im looking for a new cpu cooler which will work on both my current setup and can still be used on my future rig.

I would like to move towards a non AIO as my current H60 is showing some serious signs of wear and i'd like my new rig to last as long as possible as I wont be upgrading for a while after.

I've used the Hyper 212 evo a couple of times in other builds but was wondering if there was a better one out there for the money?

Anyone out there with experience on current cpu coolers would be greatly appreciated. Sub £40 would be nice, but could be convinced to spend more if the benefits are worth it.

Thanks in advance

Those Phanteks look pretty sweet, what are the temps like?

I reckon ill be going for a modest overclock on my skylake build so any info is appreciated.

Thank you Sir, I had received a couple of builds before recommending the Thermis Evo Pro but thought this may have been at the lower end of the scale.

Im looking to be gaming at 2560 x 1440p with a new GTX1060.

Whats the temp difference like between that and the Matterhorn Pure Edition?
