CPU cooler fan upgrade

I have a Corsair A50 cooler and I am looking to change the stock fan as it is quite noisy.

Am I correct in thinking that a replacement fan would need to have a high static pressure as well as high flow rate?

Can anyone recommend any fans that would be good?
