So I opened up my pc to clean out the dust and insee that one of the cou fans is laying on the gpu. I am going to take it to my local shop as they are going to fit a 500gb ssd. Anyway, i asked them about fixing the fan, the guy says he needs to replace it, fair enough. I take it he means he will just replace the fan that has come off though and not the heat sink and the fan on the other side? Its an i7 3770k overclocked so I wouldnt want the heatsink replaced.

I don't really want to fiddle with it myself as I have
no experience and don't want to do any further damage.

Looks like just a single fan to replace, that is if the fan that has fallen off has damaged fan blades?

Or also where has the fan fixings gone that hold it in place?

Fan blades look ok in the pic. Maybe just a simple case of clipping the fan back into position. Just check that the clips aren't damaged to ensure the fan stays in place.
