I'm looking for a better CPU cooler than the stock intel cooler to fit on my Asrock B75M-ITX. The CPU is a Core i3 3220, but I'm planning on a Core i5 3550 a bit later this year, so the cooler should be able too cool that at stock clocks too.

and I'm wondering what CPU cooler I'll be able to fit on this motherboard while using a PCI-E graphics card and some Crucial BallistiX Tactical that aren't quite low profile (37mm tall).

The case is a Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced, so the cooler height may not be more than 7-8cm tall.

I have though about a Zalman CNPS8000B ?

Hmm seems there's nothing really working out there. The Noctua NH-L9i you need to remove the motherboard to use - that's quite a hassle in an ITX system if your opgrading CPU.
I'll go with a stock cooler.

Interestingly I found the following:

It would seem that the Arctic Cooling Freezer 11 LP would fit, provided that you are prepared to do some DIY and remove the heatsink on NorthBridge (or whatever it is called now), and cut down it size with a jigsaw or something, and then attach the reduced size heatsink back on with a thermal adhesive tape or simliar; or just get sand the heatsink down to the same height as the capactors.

I have looked at that cooler and several dozens of other low profile, but none really seem to be fitting exactly great.
I've looked at Noctua NH-L9i, Zalman CNPS8000B, Thermalright AXP-100, Cooler Master GeminII M4 & Cooler Master Vortex 211Q.
The only one I saw that might fit the criteria would be the old Zalman CNPS7700C-Cu.
But instead I decided to buy a cheap Intel box cooler from the Core i7 series CPUs where the cooler comes with copper core.
