Having a quick read around it seems the ASRock Z77E has issues with fitting a cooler on due to the placement of the cpu slot.

I'm thinking of getting the Silverstone SST-NT07-1156, would this fit with a graphics card on the said motherboard and be sufficient enough to keep the cpu cool with overclock etc?

Or any other suggestions? Would prefer to stick to £20 budget.

The best air coolers for the SG05 that will work with the Asrock, still allow the use of a gfx card and are "nearly" in that budget.

1.Silverstone NT06-E ~£28

2. Prolimatech Samuel 17 ~£33

3.Thermalright AXP-140 (the best air cooler hands down for the SG05)

Sadly this has just been phased out of retail due to Thermalright being about to launch it's replacement the AXP-100 (not as good as the AXP-140 but will appeal to a wider market and fit more slimline cases)

If you have access to the Ocuk MM, I have an open wanted thread for an AXP-140 for a build I'm about to do for a friend, secondhand is the only way to get one of these now.
I've just turned down one offered to me in that thread, you'd probably get it for £25 delivered. (rrp of these was around £45)

The NT-07 is pretty ancient, it's been on sale for years now.
Run on the Intel cooler for a while if you need to save up a few quid for something better.

I think the Silverstone will be best price wise, but it doesn't seem to come with a fan, is it necessary? or is it good enough to cool passively, looking at the images I'm not sure whether it will fit a fan inside a sg05 as it looks quite tall.

Also came across this pdf which has list of compatible heatsinks one of them is Zalman CNPS9900, any thoughts on that? Although seems way over budget.

Will stick with the stock fan for now. Thanks for the suggestions.
