Hi all,

I'm planning to upgrade my current cpu I3 2120 to an I5 3570K and will be looking to overclock in the future. I'm quite inexperienced with pc building but from what i understand i will need to get a new cooler as the stock intel one isn't suitable for overclocking.

My specs are:

Bitfenix prodigy case
Asrock Z77E
Sapphire OC HD 7950
8GB Adata XPG ram
OCZ 750W psu

What cpu coolers are suitable and will fit into my case? I have a dvd drive installed if that makes any difference.

The two i've seen so far are:

Corsair H60
Silverstone SST-NT06-E

I'm on a budget so i'm basically looking for the best price/performance that will fit into my case.

Any suggestions or advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

CPU socket is very close to PCI slot on that board.
ASRock Z77E-ITX is 170x170mm. 48.7mm from RAM slot and 47mm from PCI-E slot to center of CPU.

Thermalright Macho HR-02 will fit turned sideways.. but only 22mm between cooler & GPU for fan. Could put fan on right side of case or use 120mm fans on front/back of case.

There are many other single towers you can put in sideways but would need fan mounted side to side in case too.. and of course some downflow/upflow like AXP-100 (pulling air out is be better than blowing in).. but I would use the CPU to top clearance. End of Macho is 105mm(h)x102mm(w). That's big enough to put a 120mm fan on with stock fan clips. You will need to bend them a little tighter fitting but that's easily done. :)
