Hey guys been reading the forum for a while but am a first time poster. Anyhoo lets get on with it...this is my rig

Samsung 24" TFT SyncMaster 2443bw Monitor
Intel pentium Q9550 quad core 2.83Ghz (not overclocked yet, currently with stock hsf)
Gigabyte motherboard GA-X48-DS5
Radeon ATI shappire HD3870 DDR4 1GB
RAM Corsair Dominator 1066mhz 2GB
RAM Corsair Dominator 1066mhz 4GB
Seagate SV35.5 series 1TB (1000GB) HDD
Coolmaster Real Power M700 (700W) PSU
1x PCI exhaust fan

Im moving it all over into a Antec 902 early next week but im planning on learning all about overclocking (which i wont go into now), but im looking to buy a good cpu cooler with overclocking in mind. Ive been looking at Xigmatec Dark Knight but knowing very little about building systems etc atm i thought i best get some expert advice before i dive in head first, ie is it good enough for a small overclock/will it fit in my new case...

So some advice on which cooler would best fit my needs would be great. I dont have a small budget but obviously i dont want to go crazy. Also any other general advice about my rig or cable management in an antec 902 would be appreciate, hope im not being too vague here.

Regards

The Fenrir is a very good cooler.

Also the Zalman Flex with your choice of 120mm fan is excellent.

welcome to the forums btw :)

Hey guys thanks for the quick responses. The noctua looks awesome buts its more than i want to spend realistically. How does the Titan sum up next to the dark knight? Couldnt find much on the Zalman could you poss link me to the specific one that would be awesome, cheers.

:/ with a fan + delivery charges it does seem a bit pricey....it is still a very good setup. though

After 90 days and with 250 posts you qualify for free delivery. I assume you don't want to wait 3 months though so perhaps the Fenrir is your best option http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17943556&highlight=shipping

Yea does seem abit pricey, although im willing to spend if people agree its worth the extra (was hoping to get something around 30/40 mark). Im falling asleep in my chair so will have a better look 2moro and need to get something ordered. Cheers for the help guys appreciated. Hopefully get my cpu idling at a nice low temp with a new cpu cooler and decent cable management in my 902 :)

I'd probably just go for the Fenrir actually...also the 902 case airflow is very, very good.

you might as well get the Noctua if you get that Zalman combo.

I 100% forward you to get the Fenrir because it doesnt cost an arm and a leg and its performance will do for the s775 cpu you have (There not as hot as the s1366 chips ;P)

seconded. With the free shipping the choice is not so obvious but without it bang/buck is obviously the Fenrir...plus with the antec 902 any decent CPU cooler will perform pretty well.

Brilliant the Fenrir it is then! it also looks pretty sweet :P Is this definately going to fit in my case? and shall i get AS5 thermal paste or use what comes with this? Im presuming it is includes the bracket to attach it to my mb?
Sorry for the 21 questions...
Given that its going to be installed in a 902 should i use the fan as an exhaust which blows towards the top of the case where the 200mm big boy is, or the rear where there is a 120mm exhaust fan. Or should i use the fan as intake working with the 2 intake fans on the front of the case?

Thanks a bunch for the help guys good job.

*edit* can i post links to other websites ie amazon?
