The awkward moment you notice the headsink isnt 100% in contact and it breaks in your hand....

So need a cooler for my 4670k (stock atm was going to put it to 4ghz)

budget £65

I went for a Coolermaster Nepton 140xl - was about £60 I think.

140mm rad, twin fans - as standard - big thick pipes for good coolant flow.

Works fine on mine.

Going to suggest it as a product line that OC should stock - great value AIO coolers in my view

Vengeance low profile.

I just installed 2 SP120's on the top which is how I noticed the cooler was buggered... These cheap plastic clip things are woeful.

Case is a Corsair 200R

I don't think I'd have the room for a massive aircooler, and anything with those cheap clip in things can take a back seat now.

Im using windows 8.1

Prolimatech Megahalems + Noiseblocker e-loop b12-3 is all you need.
It will keep your cpu cool without any problems, even if overclocked.
And it's 57£ , heatsink + fan.

Any reason why?

What about the 105 or 110i

The Corsair Link software has had a very slow and painful process to be made fully compatible with Windows 8/8.1.

The last version I tried in late August was better, at least it recognised their product(!) but still buggy.

what about looking at the Silverstone AIO Coolers http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=701&catid=2330&subid=2262&mfrid=228

I have the TD03 theres no software that has to be used with it , and even at high fans speeds ( around 1700-1800 rpm) its not loud at all...but it is white so maybe not to everyone's taste..and idle temps with the same CPU as you have I was getting around 27-30c in a cool room...in a warmer room I was getting around 32-35c ...under load ( BF4) I was getting around 50-53c.

and the single is £49 and the double is £69.
