CPU cooler recommendations?

Hey, I have an i5-2500k running at stock on an ASRock Pro 3 Z68 mobo. I want to overclock it so need to buy my first aftermarket cooler. I do not want to spend a great deal. Basically I want to be able to OC my 2500k to a good frequency, but no higher than 4.5Ghz. I will not be doing a lot of stress testing or benchmarking or anything like that, I just want to get the most out of the CPU.

Budget is about £15-£25.

- Need to easily overclock to 4.5Ghz at low temps
- Ideally it will be quiet
- Ideally it will be easy to install

Options I have looked at (drawback that I perceive in brackets) are the Corsair A50 (noisy), hyper 212 plus (difficult to install and very large- I have a CM elite 430 case), and gelid tranquilo (expensive for my price bracket).

If anybody could recommend the best option or perhaps make other suggestions based on their own experience that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler
£25.99 inc VAT

It's only .99p over budget and well worth it ;)

Looks like I'm going to be going for the gelid Tranquillo due to the number of recommendations and reviews I have read. Crucially, whilst it offers great cooling for my needs (which are not extreme) it is also fairly quiet it seems which is what I want.

This will complete my new spec which I have gradually been building. I have gone from:

M4A78-VM mobo
Phenom X2 550 BE
4GB DDR2
57701GB
Bog standard 500GB HDD
Non-Branded 550w PSU
Crappy small micro case

to:

ASRock Pro3 Z68 mobo
i5-2500k
8GB DDR3
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB (arrived- to be installed)
Antec True Power 650w PSU (arrived- to be installed)
Gelid Tranquillo CPU cooler (to be ordered)
Coolermaster Elite 430

Will install the new PSU, HDD and CPU cooler at the same time.

Next is a new GPU to replace the 5770 and the rig will be complete! Won't be buying that until the 7000 series GPU's are out though. May get a 7000 series or a 6000 series- depends on what the best bang for buck is.
