Hi all, slowly making progress with me build, and I am trying to get the cpu cooler right. Its a gelid tranquillo, and it's saying I need to mount the backplate on the back of the mobo, do I have to remove the white tape from the bracket, there is some on the legs and on the back, or is this the stuff that is insulating it? I'm assuming it that I need to attach it so that when its bolted onto the back, image A is what I can see if im looking at the underside of the mobo?

Sorry for sounding like an idiot lol!

From the installation manual:

3. Put the backplate on the back of the motherboard. The insulating tape must face to the motherboard.

You may find there's sticky tape under the white tape so that the back plate sticks to the motherboard.

there is nothing under the white tape, so is this the insulating tape its on about? I read that you remove the backing and its sticky in guides, but they have changed the backing plates since these guides were released, and its doesnt say anywhere in the instructions that I have to remove any tape.

Then the white tape is the insulating tape so leave it as it is.

The backplate fits with the white tape against the motherboard.
