CPU Cooler with easy installation?

I have just built my new system but have decided to get a new cooler as the Intel one is so loud, however I don't want to take the system apart again and it seems that with most coolers you have to attach a bracket to the underside of the motherboard. Does anyone know of a nice quiet/silent cooler that has a similar installation process to that of the Intel cooler? My CPU is a I7-8700, no overclocking going on and although it's a micro ATX case there is plenty of room, I think the CPU clearance above is 140 cm.

Hi Nick,

I was in the same situation as you (same chip) and went for the Hyper 212 Evo+ but I had to take the mobo out of the case to install it. If your case allows it, sometimes they have a gap behind where the underside of the cpu goes, if not, it is not a too laborious task, about 30 min if you take your time to do it right.

Hope this helps!

212 is 159mm tall by 120mm wide and 77mm deep with 51.5mm center CPU toward RAM and 37mm from top of CPU to bottom of fan. I don't like them but they are okay and don't use backplate mount.
