cpu cooler

got a gigabyte g power cooler pro and its giving me probs with my dfi expert mobo

thing is it turns itself on and off all the time-ie runs fine then stops spinning dead,10 secs l8er starts again carries on for a while then so on and so on

gettin pretty irritating and noisy.has any1 got this combo or no of what the prob is?was thinkin of replacing it with the a/c pro 64 but i really like this cooler would like 2 keep it if poss!

cool and quiet is deffo turned off in the bios
this cooler worked fine on my neo plat 2 b4 i upgraded which is annoying
the only other thing in me bios i can c is cpu fan fully on if >25 degrees
cpu fan off if<25 degrees

when we put the new system together we turned the threshold for cpu fan up and it was still happening?

still dont know what to do,and if upgrading to a diff cooler will solve this?
