I wouldn't recommend that system. If you must go water, it's much better to do separates and spend around £150 for an entry level setup.

What do you have now? The TRUE and noctua NH-U12P are highly regarded (TRUE needs a fan), also the fenrir is highly regarded but slightly louder from most opinions.

More expensive does not mean better, not that clear cut unfortunately.

Titan Fenrir
ThermalRight Ultra 120 Extreme + a decent fan
Noctua whatever it's called (edit, what he said!)

Loudest and best performance at the top, quietest and still excellent performance at the bottom.

Unless you're willing to shell out £150+ on the watercooling, it will be beaten by <£50 worth of air cooling almost every time.

Running Q9550 @ 3.4

Moved from Tuniq Tower to Titan Fenrir a week or so ago.

I ran the Tuniq @ middle fan speed.
I am running the Titan @ min.fan speed.
Both effectively silent - to my ears anyway

The Titan runs 1-2c cooler. - not that big a difference but nice to have :)

At full speed I find the Titan noisy but no worse than the Tuniq.

Am intending to run as is for another week or so to let Arctic Silvers bed in but then will be looking for optimum balance of fan speed/noise/cooling and am hopefull that the Titan can loose another coupla degrees and remain silent.

So far am impressed with the Titan - do consider it one of the best bang for buck coolers available . (I believe that ,although not designed for it, it can easily run a push/pull fan arrangement which may lose a degree or so as well)
