Cpu Cooler

Hey guys just a quick question regarding my amd cpu cooler. At the moment i have the cooler fan blowing down towards my gfx card and i was just wondering how do i mount the cooler so that the cooler fan blows air out of the rear exhaust fan ? please help

well its the fan that comes with the ocz gladiator max

There should be four screws holding down the AM2 retention bracket on the mobo. You should be able to remove this and change its orientation.

What mobo are you using? I'm quite surprised that it's not already in the direction towards the back.

The mobo is a Foxconn A6VMX(-K)

Yes i see your problem..

The wierd thing about this cooler is that that bracket isn't side on like the freezer 64????

I wonder if removing the retention bracket and using the string clips is the way forward??

edit.. looking at this further.. All the reviews are bias towards LGA775 fitting and since all brackets are on AM2 appear to be this way, i think it's an oversight.

would it work if i rotated the retention bracket on the motherboard ? the cpu cooler has good reviews im not getting a diff one
