Hey.
So I have:
Asus M4A785TD-V Evo AMD 785G (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-355-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1481)
AMD Phenom II X2 Dual Core 550 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-249-AM&groupid=701&catid=6&subcat=1328)

Now I wanted to attempt some overclocking on the processor and maybe unlocking some cores, and for this I thought I should invest in a nice CPU cooler.
My problem is I have no idea which one to get. I need one good for cooling but also not so big that it blocks up the ram slots.

So any recommendations? (Price is irrelevant)

if price isn't an issue id either liquid cool or pelt cool the system.

Liquid: look out for EK brands overclockers have some good bits to look at

pelt cooling: this is a bit more challenging to do. You get a ceramic material and pass a current through it. this causes heat on one side and cold on the other. If price isnt an issue id look for someone who could pelt cool ut i would say you cant go wrong with liquid cooling.

on a side note you should look at overclocking other areas of the computer. You can overclock the RAM and GPU as well, and if you want to go all out put the Operating system on an SSD (Solid Sate Drive) which are a lot faster. Look at the guide to overclocking and liquid coolingat the top of the overclocking section for some good oinfo that you should know.

P.S. overclocking voids the warranty and can reduce the lifespan of computer components^^
