Today I got the parcel from Overclockers and began building the new PC with some old parts. Unfortunately, my old Nautica cooling (Noctua NH-U12P SE2 CPU Cooler Universal for LGA1366 / 1156/775 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 with 12 mm Fan Heatpipes max. 19.8dBA)

doesn’t fit to Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (Wi-Fi) (AMD AM4) B550 ATX Motherboard.

Could somebody confirm that NM-AM4 MOUNTING KIT will make my old cooling system compatible with the new motherboard?

Or, should I rather buy new one NH-D15 CHROMAX PURE BLACK CPU COOLER WITH DUAL 140M FANS

I understand it will fit in that motherboard, right? Or I should look for some other product?

Would have to be darn badly made board for mounting kit to not fit.
Specifications of AMD and Intel define clearances where components can't be placed around socket for stock coolers.

But that heatsink design from time when memory controller was on motherboard and DIMMs farther from CPU will make fan block one DIMM slot.
