Well guys and gals, you've helped me a bit the past few weeks whilst I got a new build together, but now it's done I have a CPU cooling issue.

Running an AMD 965 in a Thermaltake Lanbox Lite, which is probably the main problem.
Anyways, I have an Akasa Fan Control Pro, and have placed a temp sensor between the CPU and cooler (an Akasa 875BL) and I'm getting some slightly worrying readings.
At idle it can be 37C, but I started to play a game and the alarm went to say the CPU was at 65C.
I've not a lot of experience in this area, so was wondering if this was normal?
CPU-World says between 55-62C is max.

Is this acceptable or should I be looking to do something about it.

Is the temp sensor between the CPU and cooler a problem, i.e. interfering with the heat transfer? (I did notice when I took my old CPU out it had an indentation from the tip of the sensor, so I'm assuming the contact should be pretty tight between them).

Or should I be looking for a better cooler (the Akasa does state Phenom II complient)? If so, I know with the type of case height can be a prob, so an recommendations for a short, good quality, quiet and preferably with blue LED cooler?

Sorry for the long one, just thought better to be thorough.

Thanks in advance for any help.
