so my new i7 4770k arrived today and now i need a cooler
i have a corsair 500r case wich has decent airflow but i am thinking about replacing it with the air 540 cube case dont know if im actualy going to do that though

im just wondering what cooler should i get? ive been looking at the corsair h80i and h100i liquid coolers both of wich will fit in my case

in a corsair 500r the h80i will fit on the back in a push/pull config
the h100i however will fit in the top of the case but only with one set of fans, does the ability to have push/pull make the h80i better for me?

i will be overclocking the CPU im aiming at 4.5ghz i dont really want to raise the voltage and from what ive read the most i would get without raising the voltage is 4.4 so i may raise the voltage just a tad

Just got my 4770k too. I was also considering the Corsair series but I decided to go for the Noctua DH D14 air cooler. It offers almost the same performance as the Corsair and it is also cheaper. It is massive, so you might want to check on their website for Ram/mobo issues. I haven't received my board yet so I can't say numbers etc.

thanks for the suggestion just took a look at it and it does hang over the ram slots by quite some way but theres good height clearance so i think it would be fine with low profile ram... my board has heatsinks around the top and side of the cpu socket so i think they might block for me though
