Just about to buy my new PC but need to know what the difference with these are?

Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz CPU 1024MB FSB and the 800MB FSB

I will be doing mostly Web design and graphic work however occasionaly play Half life and Far cry realisticly will I see the difference?

thats the cache not the FSB

get the 6300
 
New CPU

Well in that case then what about these:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor 5000+
and Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz CPU.

What would I be best in going for?

Think he means FSB, just 1066MHz and 800MHz instead of 800mb and 1024mb and yes the 1066 version is better if not overclocking, as easyrider said get the E6300.
