What about kf? Does it perform better?

The KF is just a 9900k with a igpu that doesn't work. It's a pure lottery.

However because the regular 9900k's are used to bin the KS, you have a higher percentage of landing a decent KF than a regular K.

What case fan setup do you have? H510i stock fan setup gives horrible case airflow, but if you remove all PCie back slot covers to increase rear vent area around GPU, put a couple of good 140mm front intakes in and block all openings in fan mounting panel not covered by fans it is pretty good. 2x good pressure rated front intakes are all the case fans needed with PCIe back slot covers removed.
