CPU Failure?

Hi there,

I have recently been overclocking my cpu and have noticed that my pc has started to be a bit temperamental. Whenever im playing games or watching films it completely freezes up randomly. The HD led gets stuck on and nothing works unless I reboot.

Do you think ive buggered up the CPU or could it be HD issue?? I did a defrag the other day and seems ok..

Any ideas?

yer I did an intel burn test.. passed that. It was fine a few days back, been running it like this for a week and only now its started to play up.

Ive taken everything back down to stock and it still locks up :<

on stock settings now but still locking up...

cpu is only getting to about 45-47 tops.... idle is normally 30 on overclock...

normally its around 25-30.

I think my hard drive might be on the way out.... I turned on my computer today and it didnt recognise a boot disk? I think all these locks up and weirdness thats been happening is the hard drive not the cpu... guess theres no way to tell until i get a new one and try it out...
