CPU Fan ALert

Hi All,

Buidling a ASUS A8N-SLI SE , X2 3800+ .

I have fitted a Artic Cooler "Silencer 64 Ultra" CPU Fan.

Now when I switch on my motherbrd i get a CPU Temp Alert !!!!

I have changed the BIOS settings to 800, 1200 and 1600 RPM and still get this alert.

The Fan can run between 1000 - 2500 RPM ( thats what it says on the box )

The CPU temp is ok it runs at 35C .

Any idea's on what I should do to get this alert to go away ?

Are you sure you have it plugged in to the CPU fan connector and not a chassis fan?
