CPU Fan Error - Antec Kuhler 920

Hi guys friend has upgraded his PC today, but is having a problem with the CPU fan giving an error on his motherboard. It works, but it's stuck at full speed, so it's rather loud!

Heres what he said:

Today I installed a brand new Z77-v LX board, and used my old CPU cooler the Antec H20 920 Liquid Cooling, when ever I boot-up my PC I get a CPU Fan Error message but the CPU fans are both spinning like normal and keeping my system really cool.
I've taken a look across a few forums and they say that if the cooler is still keeping the system cool I shouldn't worry, the CPU is a lot louder than normal so a fix for this would be very much appreciated!

Any help is really appreciated, thanks in advance

Stating the obvious here, I assume he has plugged the fan into the cpu header, as it appears there are two sockets right next door to each other?

And does the fan have a speed sensor cable?

Yes, he has. I'm pretty sure it does have a speed sensor cable, as it was working in his last motherboard fine.

Bump, still having the same problem.

On the 920 the fans connect directly to the pump head and you have a cable that goes to the cpu fan header for fan rpm after this is done you might need to install the software to change the fan profile.
