Hey, I'm using a Titan Fenrir cooler on an Asus M4A79XTD Evo board.

I dunno what to check, it's plugged in? But every time I boot up I need to press F1 to continue. The CPU fan responds to changes in the QFan utility, and is currently running at about 1100RPM, which is enough to keep the temps below 50C all the time.

Any ideas?

It's probably going slower than the motherboard expects the CPU fan to go. I've had the same problem.

My fan speed was right on the warning limit so sometimes I would get that message and sometimes it would be ok. (Depending on how energetic the fan motor was feeling!)

Do you have a fan controller or anything like that or is the CPU fan connected straight to the motherboard?

It might be a faulty pin not picking up the fan speed but the power pins are still working.

Most motherboards let you disable CPU fan monitoring in the BIOS
