Just turned my new build on for the first time and I get the error message cpu fan error. motherboards a P67 Sabertooth with a H70 with 2 akasa apache blacks which are connected to the motherboard via a PWM splitter cable, am I just being stupid and its a case of something in the bios or is it something more serious.

reboot it and it should clear, had this msg a hand full of times from my P67 Deluxe.
Fan was running, it just shows error msg for no reason.
flakey bios I expect.

just a quick check, you do have the pump plugged into a system fan header (3 pin, constant max speed), and the fans plugged into the CPU_FAN header (PWM controlled) dont you?

pump is pluged into a molex via a molex to 3 pin converter (12v) and yes the fans are connected to the fan header via a pwm splitter

but got it sorted now thanks
