Hello all,

I have just come back from holiday (three weeks) and my solidly working ZEROtherm Nirvana NV120 120mm 2-ball UFO Bearing CPU Cooler seems to have lost its connection with the mobo.

When I switch the PC on I get the warning message that my CPU Fan runs at low RPM. I opened the box and it was doing its usual 1000 rpm (manually controlled from outside the PC). The temp of the CPU is high 20, low 30's degrees and yet the ASUS motherboard (btw I have AMD X2 4800 on it) does not recognise the CPU Fan.

I am going to re-install the fan connection but apart from that I doo not see anything else I can do.

Any idea why I am getting this confusing message? I can live with it but I do not like the noise whenever I turn the speakers on. I can turn it off entering the SETUP upon booting the machine but I do not like the idea either.

Thank you in advance for your chipping in!

Cheers!

Paul
