Hi, I am looking for help with a fan issue on my computer.
I bought my new comp from ocuk and think its a great machine. I have one problem with the CPU fan being very temperamental and I am having trouble getting to the root of it.
* When I switch on the computer it may spin fine or not spin at all
* If spinning and I play a game half way through it may decide to stop or partially spin
* When exiting a game the fan may decide to stop or partially spin
Video: Here is what it looks like when it decides to partially spin

So far I have tried:
* Plugging into another fan slot on mobo
* Upgraded the 5 year old psu to a new 750w one
* Looked in bios to see if I could see a fan voltage control (with no luck)
* Updated bios to latest firmware (as I saw a mention of a "smart CPU" feature being tweaked)
Now I am not sure as I didn't want to return the cpu fan if the fault is with the mobo? Or maybe it is something simple that someone can point me in the right direction with?
Regardless have a great weekend
