My rig:
I5 2500K @ 4Ghz + Mugen 2 | GB GA-Z68X-UD3-B3 | Gigabyte GTX570 1280MB GDDR5 320-bit interface OC Ver 780Mhz | Kingston 16GB (4X4GB) DDR3 1333Mhz | Seasonic 620W Modular | Kingston 120GB SSD V300 | Samsung 1TB Sata II 32MB SpinPoint F3 x2 | Lancool K62 Black Window | Dell U2312HM

Bios shows CPU FAN at 0 rpm while i can see it spinning properly... i tried to replug the fan into the cpu_fan port on the board, that didnt' help. anything else i can try ?

Plug it into sys_fan1 and see if sys_fan1 shows 0rpm, then at least you will know if it's a problem with the fan reporting rpm or the motherboard seeing it.
