Hey folks;
Spec in sig;
Just wondered;
Sometimes my PC boots up, and the CPU fan spins to full, then slows to normal/auto speeds... Which is correct.
However,
Sometimes the fan spins to full, and stays on full speed! (fairly loud!)
This is from a cold boot, as well as a restart. To stop it, I have to reset the pc again.
In the BIOS under CPU FAN CONTROL I have the options
AUTO
Intel QST
Legacy (or something)
OFF
It's on AUTO at the moment.
Is it because the CPU fan I have is 3 pin, yet the MOBO connector is 4 pin?
