Hi all

I have just changed the fan in my TT to a YL D12SM, but I am not fully satisfied with the performance.(stock fan was just too loud & whiney)

So I am looking on fitting something else, I dont mind too much noise as long as it keeps my quad nice and cool.

I was thinking of the following;

YL D12SH
Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900RPM Slip Stream 120mm Fan
Noctua NF P12
Delta EFB1212VH

What do you all reckon, and yes I have a fan controller fitted :)

if you buying a delta bear in mind that the one on OCUK is rated at 24watt/2amp which is beyond what most motherboards and fan controllers will cope with..

I know pneumonic that why I am waiting for sidewinder to get some in stock....unless OCUK would like to expand their range ;) of deltas

And for info my quad is a G0 step, and I still have 1.4v bios & 1.36v in CPUZ pumping through it, which I think is about average. Setup is as per sig

Yeah, not good temps them.

If yours is a G0 then I suspect there may be other problems like a high room temperature, bad airflow in case.

I believe it could be bad airflow, hence the reason on changing the fans :(

I have 1 fan in front of PSU (stock fan), a middle fan attached to middle cage, and 1 fan at rear and 1 fan at top ( all YL D12SM)

TT also has YL D12SM

So come on then how can I improve my airflow
All my cables are tucked out of the way behind MB tray, so really needing help on this one :(

Virdee I am using coretemp, well I am prime stable with 1.325v in bios and idle temps have dropped to an ave of 42 but load temps are still 73 ave.
So I will get some better shifting fans when in stock and I may fit 6 fans in total so 2 in front, + 1 on mid cage, as well as 2 exhaust fans & 1 for CPU.
