dont know if this is the right section but does anyone know how to change or remove the led from (CNPS7000C-Cu LED) cpu fan i did take it apart and have a look but its hard to get the fan apart.

That rather depends where it's lit from and how they are mounted into the heatsink itseld.

I'd imagine, considering the way the fan is mounted in the heatsink, that you would need to remove the fan blades/assembly to access the underlying LED/LEDs. Removing them is not needed as you can simply snip one of the wires going to the LED to stop them lighting up. Changing them should just be the case of swapping in your chosen LED colour and soldering the wires back up the correct with the possibility of an inline resistor if you are going from blue to red and have the fan at 12v all the time.

Apparently the whole fan assembly just comes off with a couple of screws and this actually turns it into a passive cooler. My 7000 Cu cooler is in my Mum's PC so I can't verify this personally.
