This morning I booted up Dying light and within 5 minutes of playing my cpu fans jumped up to full speed. Exited the game, checked the speeds and they're at a constant 1195rpm. Checked temps and they're fine, reapplied thermal compound and cleaned the cooler(but it was spotless tbh).

I've had the fans ramp up like this before under load but never sit at a constant speed, no matter what load is on it. CPU is at 20% load and the fans are still going. Any ideas?

Are you sure it's not your graphics card fans?

That's what I initially thought but afterburner is showing normal speeds.

Edit: Looks like it is in fact my card. Afterburner is not showing the correct speeds at all.
