CPU for 4080?

Hi

Currently have a 3900x and a Gigabyte Aorus Pro x570. I have a 4080 but doubt I'll get the best out of it with this CPU.

Any ideas on if it's okay or if there's a better solution? Not bothered with either Intel or AMD.

3840 x 1080 - games wise stuff like Cyberpunk / Hogwarts Legacy / probably Starfield at some point.

Yeah I may do the same though tempted to ditch the board, but from what I'm reading most motherboards, in the latest updated BIOS, have limited overclocking as well to 200MHz which mine definitely has (Aorus x570 Pro). So if I do that I may change CPU as well.

Yeah very true - I normally sell/buy via MM anyway so it would end up on there
