Currently using an i7 [email protected] stock on ConvertXtodvd latest version.
A 700mb avi takes under 10 mins for single pass at normal priority.
1.4gb around 10 mins. Bluray 720p&1080p obviously take longer 15-20 mins.
How much would the encoding times come down with an i5/i7 ivy?
Or should I just overclock my 950?

Just tried Convertxdvd 5 with 3570k at 4.4ghz and took 3mins 20 sec for a 695mb avi.

Id say definately try it overclocked.

Very fast times there  roughly twice as fast as mine.

First thing i'll do is overclock mine then and then take it from there.

Cheers
