So gonna be building a new pc in a few months time and I like emulation. Will the 5800X be a better choice to go over the 5600X?

Looking to play around with switch and PS3 Emulators. I also will like to render quite a few videos, might want to learn to use Davinchi resolve.

No idea what emulators require but how often do you render and how long are the videos? If you do it every weekend or ever so often then a decent CPU is worth it as the time it saves you is a fairly considerable. However if you do it once in a long while then I would guess prioritise your other needs.

I used to render 2 or 3 vids a week but stopped. Looking to do the same soon.
