On MM someone is selling a ASUS Rampage III Extreme and I'm extremely interested as my 955 BE seems to be holding be back from getting 60 fps while recording with fraps what processor do you recommend nothing over £200 and will it allow me to record at 60 fps with my 2 6950's?
 
i7 930.
But that's slower than a 2600k at the same price point.
The 2500k is faster in 4 threaded apps and much cheaper.

But like I said, the board needs watercooling.
 
So what CPU would you recommend for recording videos with 2 6950's without that motherboard xD I will invest into a motherboard compatible for the CPU recommended.
 
Jokestar What hard drive/ssd do you suggest? One problem is i'll be running on the edge with power adding a hard drive could cause problems with 2 6950's and a tx650w
 
Just trying to get 60 fps with fraps as my AMD 955 and 2 6950's at probably gonna get 120 fps+ On black ops but when I start recording its drops to 30-50 which is hard to play at, at my standard.
