I'm looking for a CPU for a SAN server I'm building: either an AMD FX 6100 or i5 3570K. The prices difference is quite large (£85 compared to £167). All I can find online is people talking about gaming and overclocking which obviously I am not interested in. What I do care about is temp and power consumption plus running Hyper-V and 10 SATA drives. Anyone got any advice please?
