Hello,

I bought this "Ultima Viper" system 4months ago with intel core i7 930 2.8ghz OCed to 4.0ghz http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-101-OE about 4 months ago and it'd been working perfectly until this morning. I noticed a slight drop in frame rate when I was playing bad company 2 and consistent beeping noises coming from inside the computer. So I opened up "Core Temp" monitor and noticed CPU is running below the frequency I would normally get.

I opened up final fantasy 14 benchmark at full resolution to see if it'll jump up to 4.0ghz but it only stopped at 2.8ghz max as it can be seen in the pictures below. When I did the benchmark a few months back it was running at 4.0ghz.

Please help me resolve this problem, I would like to see if its a simple software problem before I phone up OcUK tech department.

I also noticed that the PC restarted this morning and it rebooted with a massage something along the line of "Verifying Pool data. Update OK".

here are some screenshots

Thanks in advance

If its crashed, the BIOS may have reverted to standard settings, try re-loading the overclocked BIOS profile.

Hi thanks for the reply, can you tell me how to do this? I'm a complete novice when it comes to stuffs like this. This is my motherboard: Gigabyte EX58A-UD3R Intel X58.

Hi I managed to load up the the OCUK profile and after a reboot it was fixed :D
