CPU FSB or CPU core??

Hi everyone!
Tried my 1st overclock last night! (from 2.13 - 2.50) But before I go any further though, I just wanted to know that when I hit my stablity wall which voltage should I up: CPU core or CPU FSB?? :confused:

Yeah on my board it is changeable (on 1.2v at mo)
So I take it I should change CPU core voltage only then if clocking cpu?

So how do I tell whats causing the instability? :confused:
