Hey guys, sorry if I shouldn't have opened a new thread for this or whatever, I just wanted some quick help.

Backstory to the issue is, I bought a second hand custom-built (Arbico) PC off a mate, good spec, ran the top games smoothly with good graphics etc etc. No problems, until one day (literally out of the blue) the GFX card died. It was an Nvidia 9800 GTX. Not sure what happened, but its not really the issue (although if anyone knows an obvious potential flaw with the rig with future ramifications, I'd be grateful for the info :) )

No, what I'm after here is advice with replacing it. I'm aware that there is often a power supply issue, and I know nothing about any of that, so I was wondering if there is anything wrong with a Coolermaster 460

(Mine is the RS-460-PCAP-A3).

Which brings me to my second point - if you wouldn't mind, could anyone recommend a cheap replacement?

  • No more than £60, preferably, though I could stretch further for an obvious bargain
  • I am willing to buy second hand from a reputable company, preferably with some kind of warranty although I consider this card to be a stopgap measure, so it is not essential that the card will last more than a year tops.
  • Will not require further modification, including replacing the PSU. I'm strapped for cash and I'd like to avoid that!

Thank you :)
