CPU & GPU Combos (AMD/AMD Good?)

I had a quick search but nothing stood out.

Are the benefits of pairing AMD CPU & GPU substantial?

If you had a Ryzen 5000 series would you notice much difference running it with a 3070/3080 and then with a 6800/6800xt?

Thanks for that! I knew I had read something about it. According to AMD it could be anywhere between 5-13% improvement on gaming performance.

I'm not really a big gamer, I'm more concerned about CAD performance. It'll probably not affect me but I already have an X570 and Ryzen 5800X and I do like to be efficient...
