CPU / GPU for 4k HTPC Low Power consumption

I'm buying a 4k TV in the near future and want a 4k Capable HTPC.

I currently have an AMD 5350 for 720p/60hz (25W TDP) and an Intel G3258 for 1080p/60hz (53w TDP) - both of which won't do 4k and i don't have a graphics card.

I own https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=395 (Silverstone ML04) which can only take a LP GPU and i'd really like to keep this case.

What are my options ? Buy a LP GPU? is there a super cool CPU out there that can handle 4k/60hz playback that will fit inside that case?

A used low power GPU would be your best bet for that socket I reckon.

GTX 650 would do it if you can pick one up cheap.

You won't need a gpu, modern cpu's can handle 4k quite nicely, even the low end ones.

You’re probably looking around the 9 series + if you want HDR.

i tried playing back 4k youtube video but it stuttered. perhaps this was due to resizing back down to 1080p as i dont own a 4k tv yet?

According to this 2560x1600 @ 60Hz is the max supported by the igpu.

A G3258 can’t apparently.

Kabylake onwards can handle it, plus the Ryzen APU's AFAIK.
