You got GSync / FreeSync on that monitor?
The only game I've played from that bunch is Forza Horizon 4, which does a remarkable job of delivering mega frame rates. I'd go so far as to say you could even ditch the 1080 Ti and go for a 1080, especially with the new mega-FPS 30%~ increase in the latest NVidia drivers regarding Forza 4 Horizon (my 1070 Ti nuked that game IMO at ~90 fps 3440x1440 even before those drivers brought it to parity with AMDs advantage in that title).
Then you get to something like Metro Exodus or Assassins Creed Odyssey, which will have a hard time going above 60 fps (or 40 fps in many cases) at 1440p with whatever latest and greatest hardware you throw at it.
