Hey, I'm looking for a CPU heatsink thats quite more then anything else.
It's for socket 939. I'm not really too interested in overclocking just as long as the temps are reasonable.
Also I don't really wan't one of those big ones. As the noctua I bought didn't fit.

Thanks :)

to be quite honest when i first got my 4400 the retail hsf kept the temps low and was reasonably quiet, i replaced the TIM that was on it but that was about it.

ofc that was before i sorted my w/c :)

Sorry to be dim but whats the TIM? My temps are around 40 idle.

TIM, it's the gunk that goes between the heatsink and the cpu

think it stands for Thermal Induction Material

what are your temps underload?

TBH I have not found a program that works with vista that can tell me that! :(

No. He has to learn to get his TLA's correct. If we're not firm with him now, he could turn out to be a hoodie or a beatnik or a Mac user, goodness forbid!

Nooo, please anything but a mac user
