Hi all, i am just posting today to ask for some help on cpu coolers.
At the moment i have artic cooler 64 with my amd am2 6400 cpu.My temps are idle 31%-35% load 49%52%,Now i know these temps are not at a danger level or anything but with my old cpu (amd 4200) and this cpu fan i used to idle in the late 20's and load in at 41%.
I have used good artic 5 paste and have reseated my cpu fan twice just to make sure. Now my question is can any one recomend a good cpu cooler to take my temps down a few degres? i have looked at this cpu fan, Asus Triton 70 CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/LGA775) i like the idea of being able to put a bigger fan on it, but i dont want to buy if my temps are not going to change. Any help would be welcome.
